I cannot believe I neglected to mention that I finished a writing project. I worked with Bill, Maya’s dad (kind of weird since we’re not together, but we create good writing together- and fine offspring), a while back on a short film. Actors liked it, the script was SAG approved, and the short was filmed (on an extremely limited budget [free]) a few weeks ago.

The question: If you’re the first to arrive at a party, do you want to be the first sucker through the door or do you wait for other people to arrive?

That was so funny I couldn’t quit laughing at the end. “Random act of violence.” Brilliant.
